DEELUXE Features

Snowboarding changes over and over again. Although, several tools remain the same without adapting. Alpine snowboarding changes right now, in a phase many people wont believe in this discipline anymore. And that's exactly where it draws its power from, aiming at more movability, more community, on to the actual spirit of snowboarding – having fun on snow and the feeling of gliding along in a sense of weightlessness.

Alpine boards are becoming shorter again, even broader and less hard. The binding angle got flatter and see there – its fun again riding with hardboots. Its possible again to follow the joy of carving all day long, really controlling the board and not vice versa.

Long, slim and extremely hard boards are good, but you need thighs like a tree trunk and a ridiculous condition. Its a good advice for those having all that, but the others should have fun riding a snowboard as well.

DEELUXE has set its goal to support all hardboot riders and developed a new setup for this reason. Several models in different grades of material hardness for various riders and styles.

The new TRACK line is the result of a development supporting the new riding culture. A new closing system takes into consideration racing sport demands as well as customer requests for functionality and user-friendliness.

All DEELUXE hardboots consist of a three-part shell design with lower shell, colar and flextongue. Advantages of this design are a free, progressive forward flex, convenient stepping in and out and the possibility to change by simply replacing the tongue.

The patented DEELUXE Thermoflex liner system ensures a 100% adaptation of the liner to foot and shoe at a very low weight and unique insulation. The result is a maximum of wearing comfort at perfect force transmission.

DEELUXE liners are designed for best heel support and optimal force transmission. There are two new systems: the tongue design for Indy and Suzuka as well as the wrap design for the new Track series.

This mechanism is continuously adjustable in hardness and forward lean angle. The spring achieves a progressive forward pressurization. Force peaks at the backside are reduced by an elastomere. The mechanism is adjusted into the desired position and progression by an included set screw.

This mechanism provides a maximum of comfort and adjustment possibilities. Five forward lean positions are easily adjustable, additionally there is a walk mode and a freeride mode, allowing a free flex between the positions 3 and 5.

A new closing system of the Track line provides numerous improvements, such as the improved force transmission when closing the hardboot and finer control of the closing force by the microadjustability of the buckles, but also a more rigid buckle design and a stronger locking force to make sure that buckles can't open during the ride. Nevertheless, to ensure a free flex of the boot, the tounge is fixed by a cable.
